The new clubhouse continues to make steady progress with an estimated completion date around the end of October.
The construction work has hit a few stumbling blocks along the way and additional finances has been sort. At the beginning of the project piling was necessary with the ground needing extra strength and stability before works could continue.
Since then the exterior and interior walls have been erected with the roof due to be placed within a matter of weeks.
I managed to catch up with Bacup Borough FC Associate, Simon Holding who has been tasked with the job of overlooking the redevelopment stage of the project.
